In our Analytical Chemistry business unit, we design and produce innovative measuring instruments that have an excellent image and footprint in the market. In order to strengthen the Research and Development team in our newly built global headquarters close to Zurich, we are looking for a motivated, experienced and proactive Requirements Engineer 100%.

This role is based in our global operating headquarter in Zurich, Greifensee.


Your previous experience as a requirements engineer or in a comparable function can be applied professionally with us. Exciting projects and innovative solutions require a high willingness to learn, initiative and the pleasure of dealing with new challenges. You will be part of a major project with professional, systematic processes and still have enough freedom for your creativity. Important cooperation partners are product managers, project management and development teams. We use Polarion as requirements management tool.


In this role, your responsibilities would include:

* Together with product and project management, internal know-how carriers and SW developers, you will elaborate software requirements for new products

* You define requirements that are comprehensible to all parties and can be used for implementation, testing and documentation

* Based on the market requirements you have structured, you develop complex and user-friendly product concepts in cooperation with the development department

* You develop the basis for decision-making and ensure the knowledge transfer between the various parties

* You organize and moderate concept and review meetings as well as workshops

* You participate in the exchange of knowledge and know-how within the requirements team


Following requirements are necessary for this role:

* Higher degree in scientific, engineering or related technical fields (FH / BSc, MSc)

* Experience in software specifications and requirements engineering (or as business analyst), ideally experience with requirements tools

* Experience in the laboratory and/or R&D environment is desirable

* Practical, creative mindset and quick comprehension

* Strong communication & moderation, conceptual and analytical skills

* Delighted by working in an international and dynamic environment

* Fluent language skills in English and German
